In today’s meeting, PSC members have discussed the International Investors’ Conference that will be held on 20 – 21 January 2010 in Prishtina. Minister of Energy and Mining briefed PSC members about the final preparations that are being made for the conference. Ministry of Energy and Mining has issued the Request for Expressions of Interest for the Development of the Sibovc Lignite Field in Kosovo and associated Power Generation Capacity.
Transaction and legal advisors presented options for the implementation of the New Kosovo Power Plant to PSC members.
Project Steering Committee held a meeting on 17 November 2009. In this meeting, PSC members discussed the project with transaction and legal advisors. 
A meeting of the New Kosovo Project Steering Committee was held in the premises of the Ministry of Energy and Mining (MEM), under the chairmanship of Minister of Energy, Justina Shiroka – Pula, with the participation of other Ministers of the Kosovo Government and heads of independent regulators for Mines and Energy. Topics of discussions were the developments of the New Kosovo Project.
