Prishtina, 10 August 2010 - The Project Steering Committee and the Government of Kosovo approved the draft Request for Proposals with draft Project Agreements on 09 August 2010 to be issued to the pre-qualified bidders for Kosova e Re lignite power project. 

Prishtina, 23 July 2010 -  The draft Request for Proposals and associated draft project agreements have been presented to the Project Steering Committee. The draft RfP and draft agreements have been submitted to stakeholders for review and eventual comments prior to issuing them to pre-qualified bidders in early August 2010.

Prishtina, 19 July 2010. In today’s PSC meeting Minister of Energy and Mining urged the project advisors to finalize draft Request for Proposal by end of month July. Minister also reminded importance of harmonization of project documents with Kosovo Energy Strategy 2009-2018 and Kosovo’s obligations under Energy Community Treaty with special focus on Energy Market Concept paper that is being reviewed.  

Prishtina, 27 May 2010 – In today’s session, PSC members discussed the progress made to date with the preparation of the Draft Request for Proposals for the KRPP project.  In addition, the steps required to issue the Draft Request for Proposals were discussed in the meeting.

Prishtina, 1 April 2010 – In today’s session, Kosovo Assembly has approved the Strategy for Energy for the period 2009 – 2018.  This approval includes the recommendations received from the Assembly Committee on Economy, Trade, Industry, Energy and Telecommunication.
