Contract for Procurement of Three (3) Air Quality Monitoring Stations, Contract No. LPTAP/02/2010
The Ministry of Energy and Mining has received a grant from the International Development Association toward the cost of Lignite Power Technical Assistance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Three (3) Air Quality Monitoring Stations, Contract No. LPTAP/02/2010. The Ministry of Energy and Mining acting by and through The LPTAP Project Office now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply with three (3) Air Quality Monitoring Stations, with the following components:
- Environmentally Controlled Monitoring Shelter
- Sulfur Dioxide Analyzer
- Nitrogen Oxides Analyzer
- PM-2.5 and 10 Analyzers
- Ozone analyzer (O3)
- Carbon Monoxide Analyzer
- Dynamic Calibration System
- Data logger - ANSI-SQL relational database
- Temperature and Relative Humidity Sensor
- Wind Speed and Direction Sensor System
to be installed at three (3) sites in Municipality of Obiliq, within 6 weeks after signing the contract i.e. by 10 December 2010. The Contract also includes training component and after sales services.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the LPTAP Project Office at the address below during office hours 08:00 to 16:00 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by e-mail.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of EURO 5,000.00, and be delivered to the address below by 11:00 on October 25, 2010. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
